I would like to ask you opinion for the best way to share contacts to multiple users in a Domino environment.
At the moment I'm sharing an address book of a specific user to the others but maybe it's not the ideal solution. Any suggestion is welcome.

Working in the eDiscovery field, we often times come across Lotus Notes NSF files that are in need of repair/corrupt. Typical practices include running nFixup, nCompact -c, and nUpdall -r. Can anyone provide any third party solutions for NSF repair that they have used effectively?
We already used couple recovery tools, but found out after purchase that it supports Lotus Notes 6 and lower, which we rarely encounter.
Is there anything else anyone is using that they have found effective (and thorough)? Some solutions out there claim recovery but lose attachments or other vital information.

I was wondering if anyone could point me to a company that is able to convert two Notes databases into some other format.
I looked into this last year but the company I contacted sent me a quote for over $160,000.So I dropped them.
I have a Mailin DB that notifies a group of new mail in the inbox... However it now is sending a duplicate mail a couple minutes later to the users. How do I stop this? I'm' still a new Notes person ( 8months old)

Hi have a wierd problem happening to just 1 user.
He is able to receive emails from other LN users from our enviroment no problem and can send.
However when we email form an external source (ie Gmail) The user never gets it...
I have tried sending an email from the users email box to the Gmail account and it gets to Gmail.... however replying to it from Gmail never comes back to the inbox.
I've tried looking at the All Documents view thinking it might have ended somewhere else as I'm not receiving any bounce back messages to the Gmail inbox when trying to send to the LN user... however I can't find any emails.
I've also tried searching through Tracking Centre on Domino and can't find any of the emails in there.... has anyone come across this problem before?

I have a user who has just changed his name (prefers to be called something else) - This has been done in Lotus Notes (Change Common Name Wizard) but now his emails come through in batch when our scheduled tasks run.
I have tried to deactivate and reinstall Lotus Notes Traveler and upon first time sync it brings all the mail through but it will not then sync new mail. The mobile application has been updated through the Play Store and looks to be sync'd - but nothing happens.
Can anybody shed any light on this?
I believe we are using Lotus Notes 8.5.2.

I recently moved my Domino 8.5.3 on ws2003 to to new machine running ws2012..
After installing and moving all the data,when i start the server i am seeing this in the console.
Admin Process: Multiple Mail-In Database documents for Administration Requests were found in the Domino Directory; all but one should be removed.
what could be the reason for this?
So we are looking to implement just a simple calendar system that users can enter their holiday time into and then can be viewed by all other members of the department just to make organising our own time off easier. It's nothing mission critical but is a task we want to achieve. We have nothing setup from this and I was thinking of multiple ways to tackle this. Perhaps the easiest would be to setup a database which you can enter your holiday into as a calendar view and then run at agent at a certain time? or just after a new entry is created that will sync this to users calendars. Is this possible in Lotus notes / Lotusscript

Just testing out iOS 9 and notice that the newly implemented ATS blocks everything from working.
Running straight 9.0.1 with SSL3 enabled.
Does the version upgrade fix this issue? Or do I need to disable SSL and then enable TLS.
Anyone experienced this yet? Fairly sure this will become a bigger issue once iOS9 drops publicly.

Yes my question is about Lotus Notes. We received Lotus Notes NSF file (it is the equivalent of a PST file). Anyone know of a tool that will convert these into a pst or just make them readable. I googled and found some tools but was wandering if anyone could actually recommend a tool to do this. I just don't trust tools from companies I know nothing about and just found in a google search.

I have lotus domino serve r8.5.3 fp6 in my office.
there is a group [multipurpose and acl is default] with around 100 users in it. when I send email to this group, few members (random users) does not receive it.
[Later I checked in domino server log i can see that domino router service delivered that message to that user, but user dont see it in there inbox/all docs etc.user dont have any rules setup, no junk config etc simple plain inbox. when i send email directly to those users , it comes ok, issue is with group only.
What could be the cause? Help please.
I have several users whom we have on HOLD ( Student\Internes) who will be returning for Christmas break and again for spring break.
I have them on hold status but when any user in the company types in say "Smith" all the smiths are listed in the drop down including say " John Q Smith" who is on hold and we don't want to receive email. I have removed his interent address from the person document and he still shows up?
Is there a simple way to prevent him and others from showing up?
I have one user who cant change the Delete documents in my Trash folder after X hours setting (Its grayed out). No other user is experiencing this issue. I've verified they are not under any messed up policies or in a group that might be applying this setting. Any Ideas??

I had a archived copy of my email on the
local system. Due to some problem my C: drive of the system got corrupted and i
had already taken one copy of my archive folder. After reinstalling the OS and
Lotus Notes now i have kept the archive copy in the same folder
DATA\Archive\batabasename. Now
when i try to access the archive it gives message a " DATABASE is
corrupted --- cannot allocate space""
I tried to move the archived copy of the DB to
server and applied following commands but non of them worked..
Load compact databasename -c
Load updall databasename -c
Fixup
I have Lotus version 7
Any idea?
