We are using Lotus Domino 8.5.3(FP6). iNotes user can access web mail by HTTP protocol. Traveler is configured on separate server and android users are also using HTTP to connect. We want to enable HTTPS for iNotes. using certsrv.nsf , I created self certificate, and placed in the domino server data folder & enabled ssl settings, but getting this error on client browser.

Hi is there somebody who can help how to filter sent e-mail from TASK ID on Lotus Notes by each e-mail? I mean that we have 5 accesses to TASK ID and we need to know how many e-mails were sent by each person for each period?

We have following setup

• Lotus Domino 8.5.3 FP6 - Primary Mail Server
• Lotus Domino 8.5.3 FP6 - Lotus Notes Traveler 8.5.3.200 Build 201411031333
  

All users access their email via Lotus notes / Webmail / IBM Verse.

When any user left organization, as per policy we have to keep his account/mail for few days, we just add his account in DENY ACCESS Group, & user access to Lotus Notes Client & Web mail gets blocked, But the user can still send/receive emails via there android phones using IBM Verse Android App.

on Lotus Traveler I can see the user name under DENY GROUP ACCESS list which means the replication is working, but still user is able to access email.

I tried settings from "Denied access Notes users are still able to access mails through IBM Notes Traveler" from https://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21634205 but still no...

Hi
If user mail file is on mail server server1 and its user certificate is extended.

Now can user will be able to access sever2 application server as its on different domain but has cross certificate added on server2 for server1.

Or do the user need to be re certified on server 2 also as his user document will still be carrying old certificate date on server2.

Their is no connection between server 1 and server 2

We are using Domino 8.5.3 FP6. Most of the users are Local Lotus Notes but Remote Sales staff uses iNotes webmail system.

In security policy We have set following,

• Allow Users to Change Internet Password over HTTP: YES

ISSUE#

When LN base user Login via webmail and try to change his password, I see error in Domino Log that

Server mailsrv01/xyz reported the following problem causing authentication to fail: Wrong Password. (Passwords are case sensitive - be sure to use correct upper and lower case.)

This is for sure that they enter correct password in OLD, and then enter new passwords 2 times, but still password is not changed and above error on domino server console appears.Howto troubleshoot this error?

When Sales Staff (iNotes) user changes password, it gets update fine. Issue is only with LN users that when they change password via...

I am looking at being able to clean up the archive files on our domino server.

Is it possible to create specific archive criteria for these non-mail files?

I have over 300 files in my archive and i am looking for a way to do this automatically.  It would be very time consuming to do it for each file individually.

Hi All,

I need help, I already installed IBM Traveler 9.0.1.14 into my IBM Domino server, But I'm facing an issue where IBM Verse show status "Syncing with the server." non stop, I also noticed that whenever I send an email through IBM Verse, it stuck on the Outbox. When I restarted the server email I stuck inside Outbox, able to be send out then IBM Verse back to "Syncing with the server" and email unable to send out from IBM Verse. So I did try installing IBM Traveler 9.0.1.21, but the issue still persist. Im using IBM Domino 9.0.1 FP7, as I read through IBM website , IBM Traveler 10.0.1 did support 9.0.1 for Firebase Cloud Messaging feature. So I tried install IBM Traveler 10.0.1 also not resolving my issue.

Hope anyone can help.

For audit purpose, we have to provide list of all Lotus users, account creation date & when did they last changed their password.

I know how to export the all users and there internet list to CSV file, but how to add creation date and last password change date?

Is there any way that I can remove webmail from inotes/web-mail? 

I did try trick to disable/delete the bcc entry so that its not visible in the notes. ( I also checked hide in mobile/web) for the entries.

Hi,

Is there any rate limit to connect to domino server accounts?

The scenario is through our project, we are trying to run concurrent flows where we are trying to perform the various actions on domino accounts and after sometime, we are getting 401 i.e.Timed out while authenticating with server.

We are not able to find out the reason whether this is a problem with domino accounts or the library which we are using to connect to domino server.

Awaiting for reply.

I am trying to send several emails from within Word (using Mail Merge) but when I send the emails, the emails are opened in IBM Notes (my default email client which i can't change :-) ) and I have to send then seperately by hand. 

Why doesn't Word send the mails immediately?Is this a Word problem or a Notes problem, but more important: How can I solve this issue?

I am using Office 2013 and Notes release Release 9.0.1FP9 SHF123

Notes 9.01 open on main Windows 10 desktop/laptop. User remotes into this endpoint from another Windows 10 pc.  Notes crashes. Will re-open with no problem.

Fixes? suggestion on resolution?

Windows version is 1909, happened with 1809 also.

Scenario: Windows 2008 R2 + Lotus Domino 8.5.3 FP6.

Q1- Server side archiving is enabled which move emails older than 365 days to archive folder. Now some users archive have grown too big and touching near 64 GB which is i guess hard limit for file size. Is there any way I can move emails for particular users older than x years from user archive file to another local archive file. this file will be saved on user local PC or on our storage server and will be provided to user on demand basis. This will be done to minimize archive file size

Q2- We have e-mail journaling enabled and created a local account called mailtracking. all in/out emails copy is saved in it for compliance purposes. We are required to save at least 2 months emails data in this mailtracking but since emails numbers are high therefore this accounts touches 64GB in just...

Hello all,

I know it is possible to synchronize contacts from Lotus Notes client with checked option Replication and Sync ---> Synchronize Contacts from local contacts file (names.nsf) to mail file on server and also to iNotes web client.

But Is there a way to synchronize contacts, import contacts in other direction from iNotes web client (webmail) to contacts in Lotus Notes client application?

We are using Lotus Domino 8.5.3 FP6. We have around 100+ local groups defined for email circulation purposes like DEPT1 , DEPT2 or so on & added respective users in it . When any user from the internet sends email to DEPT1@ourdomain.com , email is received to all members in this DEPT1 users group.

Our understanding was that these are local groups and user can send email to these groups who are locally using either lotus notes or lotus web mail. but this happened that lotus automatically distributed email to this group members whereas there is no such email created in domino with name of DEPT1@ourdomain.com

As a temporary remedy we created mail rule in domain to reject email if TO,CC,BCC is DEPT1 (except for dept. heads users). but there are 100+ groups, so what is the recommended method to prevent sending email from outside to local...

Disclaimer:

This topic has been thoroughly hashed out, but I'm mind-blocked on one component. I also know I'm over-thinking this.

Objective

On new hardware, create a test Domino Server to simulate a migration from one server to another and then simulate an in-place upgrade.

Current Environment (total: 3 servers)

-Windows Server 2008 R2 on each of the three servers

-2 Domino Enterprise Servers (8.5.3.FP6) are clustered together

-1 Domino Enterprise Server (9.0.1.) is for Traveler Server 9.0.1.

New Hardware

-Windows Server 2012 R2

-Test Server will focus on one of the two clustered servers

-Drives are mapped the same as current environment

Procedure (which I'm copying from other forums posts)

-Copy over the Domino Apps and Domino Data folders from current environment to test

-Copy over notes.ini from current to test

-Install Domino 8.5.3...

Hi everyone,

I have doubt about how to hide frame ('From Date' textbox and 'To Date' textbox) based on opening tabes using table menus. When I click each button under table menus, table is shown according on next frame. Consider tables such as a, b, c, and d. When I click table menu 'd', table is shown on the frame and at the same time, frame with dates textbox should be hidden. for rest of table menus, frame with dates textbox has to show.

How to do it using LotusScript or Lotus Formula?

Hi

Laptop users are able to connect to IBM Notes via WiFi. The mobile users use Notes Traveler. As soon as they are off the network, mail starts flowing. Also no issues when connected to a different WiFi. It is obviously to do with the Notes Traveler connection to the Domino server via the company WiFi.

We've got a WatchGuard. I've tried adding the rules on the Firewall but to no avail. If someone can advise, it will be greatly appreciated.
