Many iPads and iPhones although they all use Traveler
I currently have a IMAP account setup in Outlook 2007 for testing.
Questions:
The age old one, whatare the benefits ofIMAPover POP?
Which IMAP ports should Outlook be using? When I initially setup the account in Outlook 2007 it was default on: Incoming 993 and Outgoing 465. My mail would not work until I clicked; Use defaults which changed it to: 143 and 25.
Should there be a Personal folder and the IMAP account I created?
And when I send mail the sent message goes into the Sent folder in the Personal folder. The only folders in the IMAP account are Inbox and Junk.
Will email remain locally on the machine I set the account up on? I need the mail to remain locally on the computer and to be able to Archive...
