We had a collection of Notes accounts for employees no longer with us. So we went ahead and deleted these individuals. But shortly after, one of those former employees (John Doe) rejoined our organization (Acme).
Since I don't have much experience with Notes, I tried to recreate the same user name for the individual. However, Notes did not allow me to do that because johndoe@acme.com was already in the system. Instead, I created johndoe2@acme.com. But John Doe wants to use johndoe@acme.com and not the new email.
Realizing later that former users can be "undeleted" from the Deny Access Groups, this individual was removed from the "Terminated" Group in the Deny Access Groups. Then I went into Domino Directories-Domino Directory-People and edited johndoe2's profile so that everything 2 related was replaced with johndoe. Doing this,...
